(Alexandria, LA) -
Earlier in the year we shared that our CFO of Rapides Parish Schools, Mrs. Elizabeth Domite, was honored with the Award for LASBO and the Outstanding School Business Award for Louisiana from SASBO.
Because of this honor, Mrs. Domite and some vendors were able to create three scholarships to hand out to students that are pursuing a career in accounting.
The three students who earned scholarships were:
1. Kirstianna Bounds - Oak Hill High, $2500 Scholarship.
2. Josephine Payne - Bolton High, $1500 Scholarship.
3. Savanah Phillips - Alexandria Sr. High, $1000 Scholarship.
We want to thank the following vendors for their contribution to these scholarships:

2. First Financial Group of America - $2250.
3. American Fidelity Life - $250.
